Eric Cole

I started my career writing about baseball covering the Atlanta Braves for SB Nation's Talking Chop back in 2015 which has since been renamed Battery Power. After years of writing for those fine folks, I made the decision to take over as Site Expert at House That Hank Built before becoming a full-time MLB Staff Writer for FanSided in 2023. Along the way, I have been a guest on multiple ESPN radio affiliates as well as 680 The Fan and 92.9 The Game to discuss Braves baseball and especially Braves prospects and was a long-time host on the Battery Power podcast. These days, I continue to write about the Braves as well as covering the Astros, Padres, and Angels with particular expertise with minor league coverage, the MLB Draft, and bashing Anthony Rendon when possible. When I am not writing about or talking about baseball (which is seldom), I am an avid baseball card collector (Maddux and Soroka being my primary personal collections) and I also collect shark teeth. All other sports are mostly dead to me as my Bills have broken my heart too many times.

Paul Taylor

Paul is a FanSided MLB contributor. He graduated with a first class BA honours journalism & media degree, and has covered numerous MLB, NCAA, MLS, NHL, NFL, CFL & NLL events over the years, while also being fortunate enough to interview various sporting personalities one-on-one, including Roger Goodell. Previously worked for the BBC and has had his writing featured on Sports Illustrated and Bleacher Report. Throughout it all, his one message for anyone in this industry is to never take it for granted.

Jason Wang

When I'm bored, I load up Logan Gilbert's Plinko page on Baseball Savant.

Andy Johnson

Andy is a contributor for Friar's on Base. He covers the San Diego Padres. He has previously written for the San Diego Vista, where he covered Sports, and currently works as the Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Evergreen newspaper in Pullman, Washington. He has been a fan of the Mariners since 2005 and a fan of the Padres since 2022 when he first visited San Diego and fell in love with the culture and the team.

Zachary Rymer

Zachary is the Site Expert for SoDo Mojo. He has been covering Major League Baseball as a Lead Writer at Bleacher Report since 2012. He combines the new school with the old school as a proponent of analytics with a deep appreciation for baseball history. Growing up in the 1990s, he dreamed of being Ken Griffey Jr. and had nightmares of stepping into the box against Randy Johnson. When he's not watching or writing about baseball, he can be found running, hiking and embarrassing himself in slow-pitch softball games.

About FanSided

The idea of FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn the creation of FanSided in 2009, a network of over 300+ fan-powered unique sports, entertainment and lifestyle sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage. From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
