For those of you on Twitter, most probably know who Jared Carrabis is. But for those of you who don’t, he has sort of become a big deal in the baseball world. And guess what, he has hopped on the Seattle Mariners bandwagon recently.

Jared Carrabis has become a Seattle Mariners fan

Carrabis is a part of Barstool Sports, which has started to take off especially among the young group of people. And to be fair, I still don’t really know what they do as a business.

He calls himself an unbiased national baseball journalist and he has a big following on social media. On Twitter, he has 365.1K followers and has gotten popular through the Starting 9 podcast which he co-hosts with former big leaguer Dallas Braden.

Carrabis also hosts the Section 10 Podcast which is solely focused on the Boston Red Sox, his favorite team. And in even more recent news, Jared Carrabis started a podcast with David Ortiz called Call Him Papi. So, you get a sense of his influence now right?

Generally speaking, the Seattle Mariners aren’t under the national spotlight but Carrabis has been shining the light on the M’s as of late. It first started with this tweet.

And then this one.

And one more for good measure.

And since then, he shared Tom Murphy’s interview with Jen Mueller where he threw shade at Cole Irvin, Kyle Seager’s home run from two nights ago, Shed Long Jr.’s clutch RBI single, and then of course D-Moore’s grand salami.

Carrabis also had some nice interactions with Seattle Mariners fans on Twitter and it’s about time the M’s get some national recognition. It’s nice having someone as extroverted as Jared Carrabis advocating for the Seattle Mariners online as we try to gain some momentum.

I also have a feeling he’s in on the Mariners because he wants us to bury the Yankees in the AL Wild Card race, his least favorite team (I think).
