Delve into the impressive collection of craft beer

You’re going to need to wash all that food down with a pint or two. You’re in luck, as Safeco Field has the best beer selection in the league. Seattle is a town that takes its love of beer very seriously, and as a result, we get quite a bit more selection than Bud or Coors Light. A lot more. The Mariners continually top out lists of best beer-baseball parks, and this year they’ve expanded again. The M’s added two carts of Cask Conditionned Ale to their repertoire this year. If you’ve never had it, you’re in for a treat. All the fermentation and conditioning is done in the cask, then it is pumped directly to your pint glass, without the help of CO2, the British are calling this Real Ale.

As with all micro brews, you need to know where to get it.

The cask ales will be available behind home plate on two carts. But you’re going to want to go early, they’re expected to go dry pretty quickly.

I mentioned before that there are some hidden bars that have shorter lines, the one at the Hall of Fame behind the third base line is usually a good bet for a quick pint.

If you go early, The Pen offers $5 beers at their happy hour. When the gates open until an hour before first pitch, any beer in The Pen is only 5 bucks. Why not grab one and go snag some fly balls from batting practice?
