Fresh Prince Gets A Week

The Mariners have shut down Taijuan Walker for the next seven days as an exam in Los Angeles revealed shoulder inflammation, as according to Bob Dutton (Twitter).

The Mariners had been progressing slowly with Walker ever since camp first broke after he had some soreness in that shoulder. Manager Lloyd McClendon added that they were not planning on rushing Walker back.

Walker is not the only one with arm troubles. Matt Palmer, who was scheduled to get some work in today’s game will miss a few days due to a strained elbow .
