After starting the year with a series split and back-to-back series losses, the Seattle Mariners have strung together three-straight series wins.

They've got the offense clicking with guys like Cal Raleigh, Jorge Polanco, Randy Arozarena and Dylan Moore on fire and carrying an offense, while others like Miles Mastrobuoni provide valuable innings in secondary roles with the team.

As the team tries to even the series in Toronto, it could prove paramount come September. The Blue Jays hope to be a wild card contender, and the Mariners could be fighting with them for a spot in the playoffs, if they can't finally overtake the Rangers or Astros for the division title. Luckily for Seattle, they will be rolling with Castillo and Gilbert to salvage a series win.

Here's a look at the probable starting pitchers and lineups for Game 2 of the series on Saturday, with first pitch at the Rogers Centre scheduled for 12:07 p.m. PT.

Starting Pitchers

For the Mariners: Logan Gilbert, RHP (1-1, 2.38 ERA)

In a pivitol game two, the Mariners will call upon their stopper to even the series up. With the offense stymied in Game 1 and an exhausting road trip in full swing, Gilbert will look to correct the course. After only utilizing Casey Lawrence out of the bullpen in game one, the Mariners will be at full strength.

Gilbert has looked even more dominant this year, relying more upon a splitter that is among the game's best pitches. Gilbert's increased strikeout ability has come with him yet to get through six innings. Though with the shape of the bullpen, a solid five or six innings should set them up nice if the offense can pull their weight against Berríos.

For the Blue Jays: José Berríos, RHP (1-1, 5.16 ERA)

Berríos will take the mound in game two for Toronto, looking to continue their squad's early success (12-8). Berríos has been one of the more dependable starters in baseball hovering around the 190-inning mark in each of the last four years with an ERA in the mid 3.00s.

His three starts this year have been up and down, throwing at least five in each start, but giving up four runs in his last outing and walking seven batters in his three starts. The Mariners offense will need to get back on track if they hope to even this series up and push for a series win in Game 3.

What's at Stake?

Like previously stated, the series against Toronto is a crucial one that could have series playoff ramifications. With Gilbert on the mound, this is a must win game for Seattle. The offense will need to get back on track and take advantage of a normally reliable starter who has dealt with early season struggles.

For Toronto, this is a great opportuntity to capitalize on a non-division rival and put some pressure on the Yankees for American League East title. Their offense has been hot, and their bullpen has been good, but they will have a tough matchup against Gilbert.
