The Mariners will look to get the offense going much earlier in today's rubber match after seeing a perfect game against them through the first six innings of yesterday's matchup. Julio Rodriguez provided the only offense, taking Mason Miller deep in the 9th, but the Athletics still won 2-1. The Mariners have been scoring five runs a game since they let go Brant Brown, and will look to see the offense heat back up in the midday California sun.

Starting pitchers for tonight's game

  • The Mariners will be throwing Bryan Woo (2-0, 1.30 ERA) in the rubber match today. He's been on fire since coming off the injured list, throwing the best ball of his career, and doing so with brutal efficiency.
