Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins starting lineups and probable pitchers, June 30
The Mariners go for the series win against the Twins on Sunday, looking to send the home with La Piedra on the mound
The Mariners take on the Twins in the finale of their three-game series with Minnesota. Seattle is going for their 10th consecutive home series win at T-Mobile Park. Against the Twins this season, the Mariners are 2-4 after splitting the first two games in this series. The Mariners are still trying to get their offense going after scoring just four runs combined the last two nights. Hopefully, the M's can turn things around offensively and pick up their first series win since June 14-16 against Texas.
Today's Probable Starting Pitchers
- Luis Castillo will take the ball for the Mariners on Sunday in the series finale. In his previous start against the Twins in Minnesota, Castillo went 6.2 IP, gave up two hits, three runs (two earned), walked three, and struck out seven. Castillo took the loss in that start, but did pick up a quality start. On the season, Castillo has a (6-9) record and 3.79 ERA. At home, Castillo has a 2.96 ERA and a (4-3) record. Castillo is hoping for a bounce back start and looks to finish June on a high note Sunday against the Twins.
- Joe Ryan gets the start today for the Twins, looking for a better outing than he had on Tuesday where he gave up four runs in six innings. Ryan has had a bumpy month of June, he's (1-2) with a 4.06 ERA this month and the Twins are (1-4) in those starts. Overall, Ryan is having good year, with a 3.31 ERA and a (5-5) record in 2024. He has struggled against the Mariners in his career though, posting a 7.30 ERA and (0-3) record in three starts against Seattle. Which means the Mariners could find success against Ryan on Sunday.
