The Mariners have won three consecutive close games against the White Sox and Royals. They continue to build on their strong home record which is fourth-best in the league with a 23-11 record (.677 winning percentage). Cal Raleigh has come up clutch in the first two games of this series. Raleigh provided the go-ahead two-RBI double in last night's game and the walk-off grand slam in Monday night's contest. Here is what to watch for as the Mariners go for their eighth consecutive home series win on Wednesday night.

Probable starting pitchers

  • Bryce Miller will get the ball in game three of this four-game series looking for a bounce-back performance after a rough outing in Kansas City. Miller has found success at home this year, with a (4-2) record and 2.13 ERA in seven home starts. In his only start against the White Sox, he threw seven innings, allowed just one run, gave up only four hits, and struck out six as he picked up the win. Hopefully, Miller will get back into the groove at home against the White Sox on Wednesday.
  • Jonathan Cannon will make just his fourth start of the season for the White Sox. In his last outing, he came in relief and picked up the save, tossing three shutout innings to close out last Friday's 7-2 win over the Red Sox. Cannon has yet to throw over five innings this season and his last major league start was back on April 27th against the Rays. On the season, Cannon has a 5.94 ERA and (0-1) record in four games for the White Sox.
