The Mariners are on fire right now, and they've all of a sudden gone from one of the more disappointing teams in baseball to one of the hottest teams in baseball. Not that long ago, they were 6-10. Since then, they have swept the Reds, won 2 of 3 vs the Rockies, and then 2 of 3 from the Rangers. Now, they look to sweep the Diamondbacks to get to 16-12, or a record of 10 -2 over their last 12.
Probable Starting Pitchers
- Logan Gilbert gets the start for the Mariners, looking to round out one of the best starts to the season of any pitcher in baseball. He sports a 1.87 ERA so far, and this will be his 6th March/April start already this season. He's been utterly dominant over his last three outings, throwing a combined 21 innings while giving up just two runs, walking six, and giving up 10 hits.
- Brandon Pfaadt has a 4.97 ERA, but has looked a lot better in his last two outings, giving up four earned runs over 12.1 innings, pitching well against both the Cubs and Cardinals. He had a bit of a home run problem last season, so let's hope that continues in the series finale this afternoon.

Stats of the day
- The Mariners starting rotation keeps tying and breaking records. It's now 15 earned runs over their last 15 starts, something that doesn't seem possible. It's the lowest ERA over a stretch this long since back when the Indians/Guardians went on a 20+ game winning streak back in 2017.
- Leo Rivas is set to back his major league debut in the starting lineup for the Mariners, and will be batting 9th and playing SS
