Opening Day 2024: How to watch the Seattle Mariners
Chaos Ball is back, baby. The Seattle Mariners will take on the Boston Red Sox in a four-game series to start the 2024 season, which begins tonight.
Luis Castillo will take the mound on Opening Day after compiling a 14-9 record in 2023 with 219 strikeouts and a 3.34 ERA.
There are some unknowns surrounding the M's lineup, but everything hinges on Julio Rodriguez. Rodriguez, who is just 23-years-old, might very well end up the American League MVP. A year ago he stole 37 bases while hitting 32 home runs and driving in 103 runs.
With both the defending World Series champs (Texas) and Houston in their division, it might be an uphill battle to win the AL West. However, expectations are that this team will absolutely make the postseason.
That journey to the postseason begins tonight.
