Mariners probable pitchers & starting lineups vs. Texas Rangers, June 15
The Mariners now have a chance to win the series against the Rangers with a win in today's game.
The Mariners just keep finding ways to win ballgames. In last night's game against the Texas Rangers, the Mariners took a 3-2 victory in one of the weirdest games yet. Mitch Garver got some serious revenge against his former team as he pounded a 2-run home run to tie the game at 2. Both the Mariners and Rangers scored two runs in the first inning, and the final score ended up being 3-2 Mariners. Baseball, right?
With the win last night, the Mariners now sit on top of the American League West by 6.5 games over the Rangers. They are now 10 games over .500 and have the 4th best record in the American League, trailing the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, and the Cleveland Guardians. The Mariners are also 15-5 against the rest of the American League West. Taking care of the division is one of the biggest keys to winning the division.
