Julio Rodriguez continues to build his brand, both on and off the diamond. We've seen the young star make his mark on the field, winning multiple awards throughout his first two seasons in the majors, bringing the team to their first playoff birth in 20 years, and putting on some of the best displays and competition we have seen while taking part in the home run derby. Muscle Milk has added Julio Rodriguez to their athlete roster, as he joins Team USA soccer star Christian Pulisic as well as 7-time WNBA All-Star and 2-time MVP Candace Parker as representatives for their new Plant-Based Protein Shake, and Julio has already been putting in the work to look good for the camera.

It's nice to see the Mariners superstar taking part in a campaign for a well-known product with a good reputation as not just something that works and assists in recovery but does so in a healthy manner. 25g of protein, 180 calories, and only 4g of sugar is a great way to recover after a workout without taking in too much unnatural sugar. It currently comes in two flavors, Chocolate or Caramel Vanilla.
I think it's great to see Julio entering into something like this with one of the larger and most well-known names in women's basketball, as well as with one of the largest names in US soccer. Everyone in Washington knows about Julio, and a decent amount of the baseball world knows about him as well. This is a great way to get the face of the Mariners out into the general population, and hopefully bring some more fans into Seattle baseball.
