Can you sense it? It's here. The most magical and wonderful time of the year is approaching, as pitchers and catchers are reporting to Spring Training for the Mariners down in Peoria. The Mariners might just have more newcomers than any other team in baseball, coming off of literally a dozen trades made by Jerry Dipoto and Justin Hollander this offseason.

With the season arriving before we know it, how exactly can you plan on watching these games? Are some of those broadcasting issues that we have heard about going to affect the ability to see the Mariners? Let's go through all the different ways you can watch the Mariners this year.

How to watch the Seattle Mariners on cable in 2024

ROOT SPORTS is the home of the Mariners, although it is going to be a bit different trying to watch in 2024. For those with Comcast, you are going to need to make sure that you have Xfinity’s Ultimate TV package for $5 more a month in order to watch their games. All non-nationally televised games will be on ROOT.

You'll have ESPN, FOX, and TBS holding down some of the National televised games. If you go to ROOT and don't see them that day, make sure to check the National channels to see the Mariners play.

How to watch the Seattle Mariners without cable in 2024

DIRECTV STREAM is going to be your best bet here, and they have a multitude of packages for those who do not have XFINITY. The Mariners don't have their own streaming service, something like YES that you would see from the Yankees, so there isn't an option for subscribing to something to watch just the Mariners.

The Mariners are not on Youtube TV or Hulu, currently, as they (as the owner of ROOT SPORTS) have not come to an agreement with either of those entities.

How to watch the Seattle Mariners on Fubo TV

The Mariners are on FUBO TV, and you can subscribe through them if you prefer that over the other options. Similar to DIRECTV STREAM, you can pick the plan that suits you the best, although there are no Mariners specific plans on here, just ROOT as part of a larger and more traditional package.

How to watch the Seattle Mariners on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ will have two live Friday night games every week, so the Mariners will end up on there throughout the season. The schedule hasn't been released yet, but the Mariners will get a handful of games on those Friday nights. You can finagle your way into free trials there for 7 days when the Mariners play, otherwise it is $9.99 a month to subscribe.

How to Watch Seattle Mariners Games Out-of-Market

There are a lot of ways to watch thanks to those streaming options above, although none of them are cheap or easy to get to... except via an MLB.tv subscription. Three options through them. You can get all out-of-market teams for $149.99, a specific out-of-market team for $129.99, or listen in to every game regardless of area for $29.99.

How to listen to the Mariners on the radio in 2024

You can catch Mariners games through Seattle Sports 710 AM as they are the radio home of the Mariners in 2024. Listen in to the flagship station and their affiliates through Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia. You'll be able to hear the longtime voice of the Mariners in Rick Rizzs, joined by Aaron Goldsmith and Dave Sims occasionally.
