The Mariners are wrapping up their series in Minnesota today, looking to win the final game and avoid a series split. It would hurt even more after winning the first two games of the series, and a 3-1 series victory would be a wonderful accomplishment to put under their belts this early in the season.

There are a couple of things that stand out about today’s game. The Mariners lineup continues to shift, and the Twins are favored by the same number for the third day in a row. Expect scoring today, at least if you are going by the Over/Under number that’s been set. Let’s get to it and check out the lines and information for the final game in the four-game set between the M’s and Twins.

Mariners vs Twins Odds Today

For the third day in a row (!), the Twins are -1.5 favorites at Wynnbet. They sit at +140 (Bet $100 to win $140) with the M’s at -170 (If they lose by one or win, you could bet $170 to win $100).

If you are more interested in betting the moneyline (straight-up winner) the M’s are +115 (Bet $100 to win $115) with the Twins at -125 (Bet $125 to win $100). It’s a lot closer than the previous games, with home-field advantage giving it to the Twins.

If all you are concerned with is the run total in the game, the over-under is set at 9.5. If you like the over, it’s +100 (Bet $100 to win $100) and the under is -120 (Bet $120 to win $100).

Mariners Pitcher Today: Chris Flexen

In some of our bold predictions, I predicted that Chris Flexen was going to have a rough year, and especially a rough April. I want to change my mind and put good vibes out there after Marco’s rough outing on Sunday, but I’m worried. The cold weather and home run happy Twins can make for a rough day for any pitcher. I think Flexen falls prey to the rough road starts that plagued him early last year, and doesn’t make it past the fifth inning. (I hope I’m wrong).

Mariners Starting Lineup

Frazier is at DH today, as the Mariners continue to use that as a mini-rest day. Toro and Suarez are both in the lineup, with Kelenic getting the day off. It’ll be fun to have Raleigh back behind the plate, as he looked a lot more comfortable behind the plate in the series opener.

Mariners vs Twins Prediction Today

Oh man. I’ve been kinda close on these so far. If not for the early error and resultant grand slam, I would’ve been right on with the score yesterday, just backward. Here we go. Flexen gives up five in 4.1 innings. The Mariners bullpen is lights out and slowly crawls back from a 5-1 deficit. They tie it at 5 in the 8th, but Bryon Buxton (yeah, of course, it would be him) rips a double down the line to give the Twins a 6-5 lead, and earn them the series split at 2-2.
