Baseball America just released their annual top 100 prospects list and the list for 2021 includes 5 Seattle Mariners. With 5 in the top 100, that puts the Mariners just behind the Padres, Blue Jays, and Marlins for teams with the most players in the top 100.

Not only do the Mariners have 5 in the top 100, but they also have two of the top 5. Baseball America has also been higher than most on Julio Rodriguez and Jarred Kelenic for quite some time now and have also broken away from the majority that usually ranks Kelenic as the top Mariners prospect, putting Julio above Jarred this year and last year.

So who are the 5 Seattle Mariners prospects in the top 100?

Rodriguez and Kelenic are obviously the two Seattle Mariners prospects in the top 5, with Rodriguez ranked 3rd and Kelenic ranked 4th. The only players above them are unanimous top prospect Wander Franco of the Tampa Bay Rays, and Adley Rutschman of the Baltimore Orioles.

The other three players are right-handed pitching prospect Logan Gilbert who is ranked 35th, recently drafted right-handed pitcher Emerson Hancock who is 57th, and the young Dominican shortstop Noelvi Marte who comes in at 73rd.
