Marco Gonzales Dealt for the Seattle Mariners on August 31st
Marco Gonzales pitched like an All-Star in 2020, and he surely would have made his first All-Star game had there been one. During his career best season, Marco had one very memorable game against the Los Angeles Angels.

On the last day of August, Marco Gonzales threw his second complete game of his career. He held the Angels to just one run, and led the Seattle Mariners to a narrow 2-1 victory.
Gonzales limited the opposition to just four hits, and one walk. He struck out eight batters, while three of them were against Mike Trout.
Greg Johns also described the outing as:
"a perfect ending to a roller-coaster road trip that included their decision to not play a game in San Diego as a statement in support of racial equality and then a series of deals that saw five teammates traded away, including Gonzales’ close friend and workout partner Austin Nola"
Marco finished 2020 with a 3.10 ERA and this outing probably gave him some extra confidence going into the final stretch of the 2020 regular season.
Now onto No. 2 on my list.
