After a week long hiatus, the Sodo Mojo Podcast is back with Episode 10! The team went 7-5 in our absence, and now sit at 15-17 heading to face the Phillies.

It has been a crazy few weeks for the hometown Mariners. The injury bug continues to rear its ugly head and bite the Mariners. Ace left handed pitcher James Paxton was sent to the 10 Day Disabled List for a left forearm issue. Hisashi Iwakuma has been pushed back 2 days to try and help his ailing knee. How big a deal is that?

The phrase said most often on the pod the past few weeks is organizational depth. The Mariners have already dipped into a fair amout, especially on the pitching side. In this episode, we discuss what is left in Tacoma, and who deserves the credit for finding these players.

Mike Zunino has been sent back to Tacoma. Is this the end of the road for the former first round pick? What does he need to be in order to help the Mariners in 2017? Plus, we take a look at how Leonys Martin is fairing down in Tacoma.

The Mariners needed some of their young pitchers to step up, and over the weekend, they did. Chase De Jong and Ariel Miranda were brilliant, and the combination of Dillon Overton and Christian Bergman gave the team 7 innings of 3 run ball.

Plus, what did we like and dislike about this latest homestand? Any concern about Edwin Diaz and the rest of the bullpen? We discuss all this and more on Episode 10 of the Sodo Mojo Podcast!
