Mariners Game Preview: Miley’s Final Spring Tune-up

After an off day yesterday, the Mariners (15-14) take on the Colorado Rockies (15-12) for their final two games of Cactus League play. Wade Miley (0-1 5.06 ERA) will be on the mound for his last start this spring. Opposite Miley, will be RHP Christian Bergman (2-1 3.38 ERA). First pitch in Peoria is scheduled for 7:10 PM.
In Miley’s last start against the Los Angeles Dodgers, he went six innings, allowing three earned runs on eight hits. He has only registered one loss out of of four games started this spring, an outing against Cleveland. Miley is slotted in the 3rd spot in the Mariners rotation this season, and should do well in that spot. He does give up runs, but always seems to keep his team in the ballgame.
