Mike Zunino added a run in the 9th with a triple going 2-3 on the day.

The Mariners pushed to make an exciting comeback in the 9th inning against A’s relief pitcher Eduard Santos as they added a pair of runs. Down 9-5 with the bases loaded and 1 out, the A’s brought in Ryan Brasier to get the final two outs. Brasier threw 8 straight balls to walk Jesus Montero and Steven Lerud to make it a 9-7 ballgame.
