Sodo Mojo Podcast: Kuma’s No-Hitter, Schedule and More

What’s up everyone? Welcome to today’s Sodo Mojo Podcast.

Remember: We talk about three main Mariners points every Monday and Friday for 10 minutes or less. I was having some issues this morning so this podcast is shorter than usual, but please take a listen.

On today’s podcast I talked about Hisashi Iwakuma’s no-hitter. ‘Kuma was dealing on Wednesday; He had all his pitches working and was able to get ahead in the count. I really hope the Mariners bring back ‘Kuma in 2016, for the right price. They will need continued rotation depth behind Felix Hernandez, Taijuan Walker, and James Paxton. If they can get him at an affordable rate, ‘Kuma can be a useful piece to the 2016 Mariners.

Furthermore, the M’s will take on the Red Sox tonight for three games. The Mariners won’t play a team with a winning record until the last day of the month. The M’s take on the Sox, the White Sox seven times, the A’s, and the Rangers. It’s time for the M’s to make a run to remain relevant. They’ve played to a 9-5 record over the last 14 games. They are playing good baseball.

Also, props to our co-editor here, Brian Helberg. Brian was busy all last weekend. He was in Seattle, and he was in Tacoma, and Vancouver. He saw the Mariners and a number of Mariners prospects. Read his experiences and insights all over our site.

The M’s take on the Red Sox tonight. Listen to the Podcast, Go M’s!
