Marte, 21, is hitting .343 through 51 games with Tacoma this season. He also boasts a near .400 OBP (.393). He provides the Mariners system with a good combination of the ability to get on base and the ability to run. He has 17 stolen bases this season.
He took 29 bags last season across multiple levels. Perhaps the best thing about Marte is his ability to make contact. He has struck out only 20 times in 208 at-bats this season.
