Third Base
There have been no changes in the voting results at the hot corner this week. Mike Moustakas leads the way, followed by Josh Donaldson, Pablo Sandoval, Manny Machado and Adrian Beltre.
The Royals’ fans are unstoppable, Mike Moustakas leads all other third basemen with 2,385,024 votes. Moustakas is having a nice season, hitting .320 with 5 home runs and 20 RBI’s for Kansas City.

Josh Donaldson deserves to the starting third baseman in the AL this year, however he has tallied just 1,496,065 votes. Donaldson is hitting .312 with 15 home runs and a league leading 39 RBI’s in 2015.
Pablo Sandoval is a very popular player, and his 483,807 votes are proof of that. Sandoval is hitting .251 with 5 home runs and 17 RBI’s this season with the BoSox.
Manny Machado is one of the premier young players in the game, and he sits 4th in voting at 419,979. Machado is hitting .327 with 8 home runs and 22 RBI’s in 2015.
Former Mariner Adrian Beltre has accumulated 412,404 votes, good for 5th in the AL. Beltre has just been placed on the disabled list, but prior to getting hurt Beltre was hitting .257 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI’s.
It is a travesty that Kyle Seager is not in the top 5 in voting. In my opinion, Seags, Machado and Donaldson are the top 3 third basemen in the AL, and each deserves to be in Cincinnati this summer. Seager is hitting .277 with 9 home runs and 29 RBI’s this season.
