Logan Morrison Tallies 4 Hits in Win
Logan Morrison contributed 4 hits to the Mariners cause in the series finale against the Rangers on Wednesday night. He was a huge reason why Seattle was able to complete the sweep tonight. The 2 runs he drove in on a ball scorched down the right field line during the 5th inning proved to be the winning runs. Morison also made a number of impressive plays defensively at first base. Overall, it was an incredible game for the 27-year-old.
LoMo has been snakebitten over the first month of the season, but he was finally rewarded for his effort tonight against the Rangers. Morrison has consistently hit the ball hard this season, but with unsatisfying results. He is currently hitting .194 with 1 home run and 4 RBI’s through 72 at bats in 2015. These numbers are not ideal, but he raised his batting average by nearly 50 points tonight after collecting 4 hits.
Hopefully, Logan Morrison will be able to build off tonight’s incredible performance this weekend against the Houston Astros. Everybody loves LoMo, and his fun loving attitude is infectious.
