Nelson Cruz has 3-Hit Night Against Former Club

Nelson Cruz has been a world beater during the first month of his Mariners’ career, and tonight he finished a home run shy of hitting for the cycle. Cruz went 3 for 4 with a single, double and triple against his former team on Tuesday night.

The 34-year-old right fielder is on pace for a mammoth 2015 season in the Emerald City. After tonight’s 3-hit showing, Cruz boasts an impressive .329 batting average through the first 20 games of the season. His 9 home runs are tied for the league lead, and his 21 RBI’s are tops in baseball. Cruz has already put together one of the best Aprils in Mariners’ history, and there are still 2 games left before we end the month.
