The Seattle Mariners (3-3) won their first series of the season this weekend in the East Bay, and they will look to stay hot this week against the Los Angeles Dodgers (3-3). The Mariners enter the 3-games series tied with the Houston Astros for first place in the American League West.

The Dodgers are considered to be one of the top teams in baseball, and currently sit 1.0 game back of the Colorado Rockies in the NL West. Andrew Friedman was lured away from the Tampa Bay Rays this winter to run the Dodgers. LA won the NL West in 2014 and tallied 94 wins, but Friedman has added plenty of fresh faces. All 3 of the starting pitchers the M’s are projected to face this week were wearing different uniforms last season.

Today, we will preview the key things to watch for this weekend when the Mariners take on the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Among the topics discussed will be the M’s projected starting pitchers, the Mariners’ recent surge of offense and the new look Dodgers.
