And the new Seattle Mariners Sunday alternate uniforms have a little flare of old. The unis, which maintain the compass rose ‘S’ and the Mariners breast styling, add the blue and yellow flare from the inaugural uniforms back in the 1970s:

There’s nothing better than having Nelson Cruz, the newest big member of the Seattle Mariners lineup, act as a model for the new digs.
And, of course, the Mariners included funny-man and LHP Charlie Furbush, along with youngsters Taijuan Walker and James Paxton, to show off the Sunday home attire:

Along with the new alternate uniforms, the Mariners also added striped stirrups to their normal home and away repertoire.
On top of that, they added a gray lining to the home white jerseys in between the deep blue lettering and northwest green background.
