Seattle Mariners 2015 Caravan Dates Announced

Seattle Mariners relief pitcher Charlie Furbush is among the participants in the 2015 Mariners Caravan, which makes stops at numerous elementary schools and Boys and Girls Clubs across the region.

Select Mariners players, as well as the Mariner Moose and members of the Mariners broadcast team, deliver the D.R.E.A.M. Team message and host complimentary autograph and photo sessions for the general public.

The three-week Mariners Caravan makes its first stop of 2015 on Tuesday January 6 and continues through January 23rd.

Furbush is among those that will make appearances in the first week of the tour.

Relievers Dominic Leone and Danny Farquhar, starting pitcher James Paxton, outfielder James Jones and catcher Mike Zunino are the others that are tentatively scheduled to appear throughout the three-week tour.

"The first week of the tour begins in Bremerton and Silverdale in Kitsap County, Wash., and will feature Furbush along with announcer Rick Rizzs and the Mariners Moose. The tour will eventually make its way as far north as Vancouver, B.C., south to Portland, Ore., and east to Spokane, Wash.Day 1 stops on Jan. 6 will include a public autograph session at the Kitsap Naval Base from 12:30-1:30 p.m. PT, followed by a D.R.E.A.M. Team assembly for students at Silverdale Elementary from 2:30-3 p.m. and an appearance at the Henry T. Schatz Branch Boys & Girls Club in Tacoma from 4:30-5:30 p.m."
