Mariners Threesome Nominated For Gold Glove
Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano is no stranger to a Gold Glove. The All-Star won the award in both 2010 and 2012 and is a finalist for the award this year. Joining him from the Mariners are Felix Hernandez and Kyle Seager.
Neither Felix nor Seager have ever won a Gold Glove but both stand a good chance of correcting that after this season.
The Mariners haven’t had a Gold Glove winner since 2010 when both Franklin Gutierrez and Ichiro Suzuki won the award. When no Mariner won the award in 2011, it broke a streak of 24 straight seasons with at least one Mariner winning the award.
