The Mariners had a rough July, going 11-14 and dropping out of the lead position for the second Wild Card spot.
When you combine that with the fact that the M’s only addressed their outfield concerns by the non-waiver Deadline, it seems apparent that Seattle will need all the help they can get from their 15 September call-ups.
