Kyle Seager – 3B

Kyle Seager has been the offensive MVP for the Mariners the past few years, but this season is something special. This will be Seager’s first time as an American League All-Star. He will also be replacing the injured Edwin Encarnacion, but that doesn’t take anything away from how much the Mariners third basemen warrants his first All-Star game.

Seager didn’t have a horrible value going into drafts sitting at an ADP of 140, but he has exceeded original rankings. Seager is currently ranked 7th overall for fantasy baseball third basemen. Owned in over 85% of fantasy leagues, owners are loving the first half offensive numbers from their All-Star.

Seagers powers numbers are in full effect this season. He currently has 15 HR in the first half, and his 63 RBI currently sits 4th overall for fantasy third basemen. Seager has moved around a ton in the Mariners lineup, but fantasy owners are loving his recent production from the #4 and #5 hole in the lineup.

Seager is going to have the best offensive season of his career. Fantasy owners can expect the same numbers going into the second half of the season, and enjoy the production from their All-Star third basemen.
