Robinson Cano – 2B

The Seattle Mariners are getting everything they wanted out of Robinson Cano this year. The leading vote getter for AL second basemen has been anything short of astonishing. Cano will be the starting second basemen for the AL, and fantasy owners have been riding his stats to the tops of their leagues.

Going into the 2014 season, Cano was the #1 ranked second basemen in the game. He has first round draft pick status with an ADP of 10. Cano is typically a slow starter to the season, but his first half has been fantastic. Not only has he been the needed addition to the Mariners offense, he has also well represented fantasy owners going into the half way mark.

Cano is owned in 100% of fantasy baseball leagues and is currently ranked #4 overall at second base. He is second to only Jose Altuve in batting with a .334 BA, and leads all second basemen in runs batted in with 56 RBI on the year.

He may only have 7 HR so far, but all previous Cano owners know his bat heats up the deeper we get into the season. Expect Cano to finish tops in second base fantasy rankings before the year ends. Fantasy owners can enjoy seeing their favorite second basemen as he represents their fantasy squad at the All-Star game.
