Ken “The Digger” Phelps spent 11 seasons in the majors at 1B/DH.
This is one of my favorites. The Ned Flanders push broom mustache is always a classic.
Girth.. Strength.. Honor.. Integrity.. All adjectives that come into mind when beginning to describe Ken Phelps mustache.
Mr. Phelps spent a good chunk of his career in Seattle during the 80’s, and his mustache was the epitome of an 80’s `stache.
Carry on you wayward mustache. We will not forget you.
