Jon Morosi updated fans later on after talking with Guerrero’s agent Scott Boras.
Part of Alex Guerrero's ear was "displaced by a bite" during altercation with Miguel Olivo, according to Guerrero's agent, Scott Boras.

Displaced? As in removed? How do you displace an ear? You either have one or you don’t. I displace my keys all the time, or perhaps that’s misplace. Well I digress. Morosi continues:
Alex Guerrero is having plastic surgery on his ear right now, Scott Boras said.

Guerrero's recovery timetable is uncertain, Boras said; not clear yet how many stitches the surgery will require.

The 35-year old Olivo is on the Los Angeles Dodgers Triple-A affiliate, Albuquerque Isotopes. Olivo spent parts of four different seasons with the Mariners, most recently in 2012.
Guerrero is in his first professional season after defecting from Cuba in 2013. He struck out in his only major league appearance so far, during the Opening Series in Sydney, Australia.
