Miguel Olivo Goes Mike Tyson On Teammate Alex Guerrero

Former Seattle Mariners catcher Miguel Olivo channeled his inner Mike Tyson on Tuesday, as he got into a fight with Triple-A Albuquerque teammate Alex Guerrero.

During the altercation, Olivo bit Guerrero’s ear. Twitter went crazy.

Jon Morosi updated fans later on after talking with Guerrero’s agent Scott Boras.

Displaced? As in removed? How do you displace an ear? You either have one or you don’t. I displace my keys all the time, or perhaps that’s misplace. Well I digress. Morosi continues:

The 35-year old Olivo is on the Los Angeles Dodgers Triple-A affiliate, Albuquerque Isotopes. Olivo spent parts of four different seasons with the Mariners, most recently in 2012.

Guerrero is in his first professional season after defecting from Cuba in 2013. He struck out in his only major league appearance so far, during the Opening Series in Sydney, Australia.
