The Seattle Mariners had a great week. A much needed, good week. Following the team’s eight-game losing streak, the Mariners have now won seven of their last nine.

Not only are they winning, but how they are winning is promising as well. The bats have awakened. Sparked by Michael Saunders in the leadoff spot and the absence of Abraham Almonte altogether. In the last two games, the M’s have scored 17 runs.

Going into Monday’s play in Oakland, the Mariners are now 14-15, sitting only a half game back of Los Angeles for third place, two games back of Texas for second and four back of Oakland for first.

But before we look too far forward, let’s take a look back ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) and the Seattle Mariners Week In Review.
