Mariners Rally In Win Over Texas

Felix Hernandez had a rough time. As did Lucas Luetge and Fernando Rodney. But Tom Wilhelmsen and Logan Bawcom saved the day as the offense finally woke up en route to a 9-8 win over the Texas Rangers Sunday.
It was a true team effort as 12 different players had at least one hit. Down 8-3 in the bottom of the 8th, the Mariners torched Alex Gonzalez and Cory Burns for a combined six hits and six runs in the 8th.
The Mariners (10-3) return to split-squad action Monday with a 1:05 pm game against the Royals and a 7:10 pm game against the Diamondbacks. Robinson Cano is expected to be back in the lineup, I would guess against Arizona.
