You can see some highlights by Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times.
There were three home runs in the game. One by Stefen Romero off Anthony Fernandez, one by Nick Franklin off James Gilhenney and one by Jabari Blash off of Logan Bawcom.
Blash was 2-for-2 with the homer and a walk in the victory for the Mariners #2 team. What does it mean? Not much as most of you I’m sure realize. But it was something. It was baseball and it was a welcome sight.
The Mariners begin their Cactus League schedule on Thursday against the San Diego Padres. We will have full coverage and analysis after the game.
