Predicting The Mariners Opening Day Lineup

What will the Seattle Mariners Opening Day lineup look like on March 31st when the team travels to Los Angeles to play the Angels of Anaheim?

With 21 days until pitchers and catchers report for their physicals and all of Spring Training still to be played, it’s anybody’s guess.

But with the New York Yankees signing Masahiro Tanaka to a 7 year/$155 million contract, the M’s will either be looking elsewhere for starting pitchers. Or, potentially, will take the current crop to Peoria to compete for the spots in the rotation.

One thing that can be agreed on barring injury is that King Felix Hernandez will be on the mound to start the season in LA. Aside from that though?

There are still moves to be made, in theory, unless the M’s are in fact out of money. I’m going to speculate as to who I think will be playing the skill positions for Game 1, and then dive into the batting order:
