Please disregard anything you read that implies that Rowland-Smith is a legit #2 behind Felix. It’s not true.
P.S. I was suppose to be at both of these games… stupid deployment…

You’re right, he probably isn’t a legit #2, but he certainly has a chance to be a solid #3. As Dave Cameron pointed out, he’s more than just a Jarrod Washburn clone – he’s inducing ground balls, consistently. That could be huge.
September 22nd, 2009 at 4:14 pmMan….that high powered offense is just exploding all over the Rays
September 22nd, 2009 at 6:11 pmwhat? comments? no spam? huh?
No, his GB% is great and I read the same article. However, to think he is a #2 is completely pushing beyond his talent ceiling.
I could go as far as #3 maybe as he continues to prove himself. But, for now he’s a legit #4 with stuff to become better.
September 22nd, 2009 at 8:54 pmI’d agree, but if he can finish this season off strong and build on it to start 2010, he could definitely step into the #3 spot.
There was some spam that tried to sneak it’s way onto your post, but I stopped it!
September 22nd, 2009 at 9:08 pmDude you rock! Hey, what the heck is up with Mike Carp? Another home run today, I know what his tools are and that power just in general is not generated from his swing but his wOBA is so nice looking.
i’m interested to see what next season holds for us.
September 22nd, 2009 at 10:40 pmMike Carp did not homer today
. But yeah, so am I.
September 22nd, 2009 at 10:47 pmOh, well i just suck. I thought i saw a picture of him homering … miss read that one! Havn’t even checked the box score or watch the nightly reply. Will do that after breakfest
