Best Pitcher: Logan Gilbert

7.0 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 6 K

In his second start since a horrid outing in Boston, Gilbert had a great showing 92-pitch showing against a clearly outmatched Mets lineup. He had 15 whiffs, seven of which were against his slider. Of his 12 called strikes, six of which were from his four-seam fastball. He also threw a few cutters, the newest weapon in his already prolific arsenal.

Honorable Mention: Luis Castillo

6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K

While somewhat outdone by the offense, Castillo had a great showing in a Luis vs. Luis duel. He accumulated 11 total swings and misses, six of which against his four-seam fastball. He also had a whopping 21 called strikes, 11 from his four-seam fastball. Although his sinker had just two whiffs and six called strikes, it was looking equally as potent.
