The Seattle Mariners no. 1 prospect Jarred Kelenic is the Hulk

The Mariners absolutely won the trade that sent Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz to the Mets to acquire Jarred Kelenic and Justin Dunn. Kelenic is the Mariners’ number one prospect and the ninth-ranked prospect in the MLB. The young 21-year-old has a .290 career batting average in the minor leagues, with 29 home runs.

Kelenic’s arms have gone viral and you can see why in the picture above. I should not be saying that Kelenic is small, but he is not the tallest of players in the big leagues. Kelenic is 6′ 1″, 190lbs, but he has enormous power. The outfielder is a well-rounded player that can hit for power, steal bases, and can play solid defense.

I think the most suitable Avengers character for Kelenic is Hulk. Also known as Bruce Banner, the Hulk has superhuman strength, speed, and stamina. Almost the same exact attributes as Kelenic who is ready to start for the Mariners in 2021. Mariners nation cannot wait for the Hulk, I mean Kelenic to play for the Mariners and hit bombs. Fans are especially eager because they watched young players like Evan White and Kyle Lewis win accolades in 2020.

Kelenic seemed to have no problems hitting off of his teammates at Cheney Stadium, and I expect him to do the same in spring training and the 2021 regular season.
