AJ Has Big Day for Seattle

Austin Jackson was huge for the M’s in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Safeco Field. Not only did AJ have a great game in center field, but he also came through with 3 hits at the plate. Jackson went yard for the first time since the Mariners acquired the veteran center fielder at last season’s trade deadline. He also contributed an RBI single in the 9th inning that tied the game at 10.

I have always been a big fan of Austin Jackson’s game, and today he did a wonderful job hitting out of the leadoff spot. AJ is now hitting .277 so far in 2015, and he looks like a whole new player at the dish. Consistency has always been the problem for Jackson, but he is on pace for a very strong season this summer.
