Logan Morrison had himself a nice afternoon on Saturday in Scottsdale. LoMo only had 1 at bat, but he made it memorable by connecting on a 2 run dinger to center field. Morrison has had an average spring for the M’s, hitting .250 with 2 home runs and 7 RBI’s across 60 at bats.

LoMo has a golden opportunity in front of him in 2015. With Cano, Cruz and Seager set to bat in front of him, Morrison has the chance to become a big time run producer for the Mariners batting out of the number 6 spot. LoMo was arguably the best player for the M’s down the stretch in 2014, and hopefully that success carries over to this season.

Morrison is an emotional player, and he is one of the leaders in the clubhouse. If his performance on the field can match his enthusiasm for the game, LoMo could develop into a special player for the Mariners is 2015.
