Mariners Talk Podcast This Sunday At 7 PM

Mariners Talk – powered by SodoMojo.com – took a week off last Sunday but both Dan Hughes and I are back this Sunday at 7 PM PST. This week Mariners Talk will also be having a contest in which the winner will receive a $20 Amazon gift card. The contest will go on during the podcast and the following week. We will be playing three songs from vintage video games. First person to correctly identify which games the songs were from will win the gift card.

At the start of the podcast Dan and I will be going over the past two weeks for the Mariners and talking about how the M’s have become one of the hottest teams in baseball. We’ll be going over who has been a big part of the M’s hot start to put themselves in the 2nd spot in the Wild Card. We’ll talk about Kyle Seager and how he’s rocketed back from his slow start to now be on pace to exceed 100 RBIs this season and how his power surge has also helped the Mariners.

We need to also talk about how Seager has been overlooked in the All Star ballot and how he should be in the All Star Game this year. We’ll also be handing out our weekly awards as well.

After me and Dan get done with the weekly round up we’ll go into our off-current topic in which we will be having a special guest on to discuss the Mariners minor league players like D.J. Peterson.

Aaron Blachley (@MiLBMariners) will be joining us to talk nothing but Mariners minor leagues and we’ll throw in some majors. Blachley will hopefully join us for our final segment on the podcast which will be our weekly preview and weekly prediction.

During out weekly preview the guys and myself will be giving out impact players of the week that will be the difference in this next week for the M’s.
