Predicting The Mariners Opening Day Lineup

The (near) certainties:

Kyle Seager will be the starting third baseman come opening day. Again, barring injury (you can just assume that caveat from here on out).

Also, our 240 million dollar man Robinson Cano will be starting at second base.

These two are the only position players I can confidently put in the starting lineup.

That is kind of a scary thought– but maybe a Seahawks/Pete Carroll-esque competition at Spring Training isn’t such a bad thing. I think the Hawks are playing for something important in a couple of weeks. Can’t remember though.
