Let the speculation continue

The top story this week is that the Seattle Mariners are interested in acquiring EVERYONE this offseason. Everyone that is, except Jacoby Ellsbury.

As the GM meetings took place in Orlando this week, we stayed on it with daily recaps on Monday and Wednesday, and a live blog on Tuesday to give you the latest. What did we learn?

The M’s don’t want Ellsbury, they want Nelson Cruz, or Matt Kemp, or Dexter Fowler, or Carlos Beltran, or fill in the name of any available outfielder with a little bit of power….here.

They also want a No. 2-caliber pitcher. Matt Garza‘s name pops up often. Masahiro Tanaka‘s does as well, but with the latest news regarding the posting system, that may not happen.
