Do I really need to type anything else? I mean really? Who better to be the face of this franchise than the man who has always been the face of this franchise? As a fan it still puts goosebumps on my neck and brings a tear to my eye watching highlights of Griffey’s amazing career (cue inspirational music).

I am not sure how he would fare as a manager but I bet he would make one hell of a batting coach. I will spend the better part of my winter attempting to find him down here in Tucson, watching his son play football for the Wildcats and see what he thinks about the vacancy. Wish me luck..
