Ashley credits her love of baseball to an unsuccessful stint in college intramural softball, where she was the only catcher who couldn't throw the ball in a straight path to the mound. Since then, she's found more productive outlets for her baseball obsession, like cheering for the San Francisco Giants, paying visits to Safeco Field, and writing this autobiographical blurb.
