Trader Jack Zduriencik Receives A Contract Extension From the Seattle Mariners

According to numerous sources and confirmed by the Seattle Mariners organization, general manager Jack Zduriencik has been given a multi-year contract extension.

Though details are sparse, it seems that he has earned some love with recent moves that have netted all-star Robinson Cano, and trades that led to the additions of Kendrys Morales, Austin Jackson, and Chris Denorfia.

In his 6-years with the Mariners reviews have been generally poor. But in the last 12 months it seems trader Jack has made the necessary moves to put the Mariners in the playoff picture and in position for a re-upping of his contract.
