Honorable Mention:

Ken Griffey Jr., Center Fielder

Although Ken Griffey Jr. is my favorite Mariner of all time, he did not make the cut. It was the overall thickness of his mustache that kept him from cracking the top 5.

Heck his mustache wasn’t even that good but you can’t make a ‘top 5’ Mariners list without having The Kid mentioned somewhere.

Number 5.

Randy Johnson aka ‘The Big Unit’, Starting Pitcher

Not a lot of people know this but the Big Unit actually earned that nickname because of his mustache. His mustache shaved its way to super-stardom when it single hairdedly threw the first no hitter in Seattle Mariners history.

After a successful career in the Majors, The Big Unit and Randy Johnson retired, earning their way into the Seattle Mariners hall of fame.

They are currently working towards a new career in amateur photography.
